HOLLYWOOD PRODUCTION AND STUDIO ACCESS NOTICE

For clients working within the Hollywood and Southern California entertainment-production community, including motion-picture and television studios, soundstages, backlots, production facilities, and other controlled-access properties, please review the following before an on-site appointment.

Beginning in 2020, the entertainment industry adopted substantially enhanced production-safety and access-control procedures. On June 12, 2020, SAG-AFTRA, the DGA, IATSE, the Teamsters and Basic Crafts jointly issued The Safe Way Forward, followed on September 21, 2020, by industry-wide protocols negotiated with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP). Individual studios and productions, including Paramount, Warner Bros., and others, maintain their own visitor and security procedures.

When Dr. Francis will be meeting you at a secured studio or production location, please provide the front gate, security office, or appropriate production representative with his full visitor name Dr. Michael Francis before his arrival. Please do not submit only “Dr. Francis,” as the complete first and last name may be necessary for security personnel to identify and verify the visitor at the gate. Dr. Francis will provide government-issued identification when required.

Because studio lots and production facilities can be extensive and individual soundstages, offices, sets, and working locations can be difficult to locate, please also share your location with Dr. Michael Francis for one hour shortly before the scheduled appointment. Apple iPhone users may use the Find My app; Android and other compatible device users may use Google Maps location sharing or another mutually agreed location-sharing service. Location sharing is requested solely to assist Dr. Francis and the client in locating one another and should always be used in accordance with studio or production policies.

Advance gate authorization and temporary location sharing help prevent unnecessary delays at studio entrances and allow appointments to begin as close to their scheduled time as possible.
